Albatross Arena Summary
You can click on any of the following topics to jump directly to the relevant section.
Basics
The Albatross Arena is a competition that begins every three days for players who have unlocked stage 8.
- AA consists of 9 golf holes based on the highest stage you have attained.
- Opens at Stage 8.
- The aim is to be the first person to score an albatross on each hole.
- You have 3 days to score an albatross on each hole before any other player does.
- Once an albatross is scored, the hole is locked to that player, and cannot be played until the next refresh, which happens every 3 days.
- If you do this before any other players join, you may end up with you as the only player in the arena.
- The aim is to hold all 9 holes for a reward of wolf coins (table below on the coins offered by stage).
- Coins can be exchanged in the Arena store for Wolf club cards, ball chests and coins.
AA stages
There are several AA stages in which you will paly according to your actual stage; some are grouped for several stages:
- Albatross Arena for stage 8
- Albatross Arena for stage 9
- Albatross Arena for stage 10
- Albatross Arena for stage 11
- Albatross Arena for stage 12
- Albatross Arena for stage 13
- Albatross Arena for stage 14 and 15
- Albatross Arena for stage 16 and 17
- Albatross Arena for stage 18, 19, and 20
You will be added to an Arena that matches your current trophy count/highest stage.
To join an arena at a lower stage you must forfeit games until your trophy count is in the appropriate range.
(Note: GR does not allow you to move lower than one stage.)
A maximum of nine players will be competing in each arena.
There are nine par 5 holes in each Albatross Arena.
Game Strategy
Your goal is to score an albatross on each of the nine holes, i.e. get in the hole within two strokes. You do not get a third shot, so it means that the distance from the hole after your second shot is your final measure.
The player who gets closest to the pin will occupy the hole successfully.
Once a player achieves an albatross, the hole is won and other players can no longer contest it.
Once a player achieves an albatross the arena will be closed for further participants; this means that you will try to score an albatross as soon as you can, so that you will compete with a minimal number of players.
The best situation for you will be when you score an albatross and no other player has yet joined your Arena: you will have the Arena all for yourself, and you will be able to maximize the “harvesting” of points, since no one is competing with you!
Rewards
You earn Wolf Badges as Proximity Rewards during the game, and as Final Standing Rewards after the game.
Proximity Rewards
Proximity Rewards are identical for all arenas; you get Distance Wolf Badges, if your final measure is:
- lower than 100 yards = 1 point
- between 10 and 5 yards = 3 points
- lower than 5 yards = 5 points
- If you score an Albatross = 10 points
For each Proximity Reward you receive the same amount of gold coins and league coins.
Final Standing Rewards
Final Standing Rewards depends on the number of holes won or occupied by the end of the game, as well as the Arena level you are playing:
